Filming at the 02 Arena is something else, a whole other level entirely. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 20,000 and is big enough to make a stage suddenly seem small, and certainly the person standing on that stage. So it was a proud achievement moment for us to see our work up on the big screens when we went to film Jason Derulo live there on his Everything is 4 World tour a few months ago.
We had worked relentlessly with our creative partners to ensure that the animations on screen assisted in bringing to life the concepts of Jason’s own creative team, and to ensure that the visual message between stage and screen flowed seamlessly, to allow for faux interaction with elements on screen, and to bring his performance to life in a ‘larger than life’ setting.
Our team filming were able to capture the moment on everything from a GoPro for cheeky behind the scenes moments to a Sony FS7 for beautiful slow motion shots of the action on stage. It was a privilege to see Jason’s live performance and the way he works a crowd, and also a rather satisfying opportunity to see a project we had worked on come to life in exactly the way it was meant to.
We hope you’ll enjoy the moment to take a glimpse into it for yourselves on our highlights reel!
